"I am ecstatic to be introducing Paul Penders Botanicals in India, an economy that is culturally, enormously dependent on organic therapies and products since centuries. Our products have been developed from age old herb therapies and are mild yet effective for the contaminated environment," Penders said in a statement.

Sargam Dhawan, CEO and Director of Paul Penders Botanicals India, says that the brand has already received an overwhelming response through their website in India.

"We are extremely happy to be officially launching the brand and revolutionising the trend of vegan beauty," said Dhawan.

With the retail beauty and cosmetics market in India currently estimated at $950 million and expected to touch $2.68 billion by the year 2020, as per a recent report released by Assocham, more and more global cosmetics firms are turning to India for growth.

Paul Penders brand is a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)-approved vegan skin care and makeup brand. The products are now available online in the country at www.paulpenders.in.

Established since 1900, Paul Penders claims to be the world's first ever organic makeup & skin care brand and was founded by a Dutch environmentalist and animal rights activist named Paul Penders who incorporated his beliefs into his skincare and cosmetics products.
