AR is taking over the fashion and beauty world. As consumers are shopping in the digital space, AR delivers instant feedback. Consumers can try on looks through AR apps and then purchase product right from the app.

Brands including Sephora, L'Oreal, Shiseido and Paul Mitchell have entered the AR space with apps offering their consumers virtual makeovers.

The Battington app will allow consumers to take a photo of their face and then try on six styles of photo realistic Battington lashes. Users can add filters to enhance their features. They can then share the final picture on social media. There is also an option to purchase Battington lashes through the app.

The app is designed to target both new and existing Battington customers.

"Whether they are a first-time buyer or a seasoned lash pro, this app was carefully designed so that users could easily experience" the brand, said Creative Director Lilliana Vazquez.

Battington eyelashes are 100% silk and are designed to be worn up to 25 times. The brand launched in 2015. It offers consumers a luxury-positioned, cruelty-free way to enhance their natural beauty.

Battington is currently sold at both department stores and beauty boutiques as well as at several Anthropologie locations.

The Battington app is available for download on iOS.
