Brandon Maxwell debuts Gaga earrings in his new e-comm shop

Brandon Maxwell has officially launched his e-commerce site with the debut offering of handmade earrings by jeweler Lunch at the Ritz by Zander Elliott straight from Maxwell's spring 2018 runway show.

This Maxwell's first foray into e-commerce. He is currently also known for being Lady Gaga's stylist and is currently her fashion director. The musician herself has been promoting the earrings on her social media.

The earrings are statement pieces in colorful enamel shapes of oversized zebras, owls and panthers. According to a statement released by the brand, the animals represent various "attributes of the Brandon Maxwell woman: an owl for wisdom, a zebra for individuality and a panther for courage."

The earrings are individually handmade in the USA. The enamel sits inside a 24 karat gold-plated backing. Each pair features unique markings made of crystal embellishments. The animals' tails, heads and legs move with the wearer to complete the statement.

Maxwell launched his own line two years ago. His fashions include tailored jumpsuits and ball gowns worn by a range of powerful women including Michelle Obama, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The limited availability earrings are being offered for pre-order now on Brandon Maxwell's website in two sizes. Price points range from $495 to $795. They will ship in February 2018.
