The 4,000-square-foot flagship space houses an assortment of Canada Goose products including its iconic luxury parkas, the brand’s recently released knitwear collection, as well as limited-edition collaboration pieces and retail-only exclusives.

For the opening, the Toronto-based brand launched special pieces such as the Canada Coat, designed to commemorate the brand’s 60th Anniversary and Canada’s 150th.

True to its “made in Canada” roots, the high-end outdoor apparel specialist chose to include several Canadian elements throughout the store. Shoppers can find soapstone-carved polar bears by Aboriginal visual artist Jason Carter, as well as custom down-filled upholstered furniture from Montreal-based Montauk and distressed wooden benches by Ontario millworker, D.B. Johnson, displayed in store.

Canada Goose will also display a vintage piece from its archives related to the brand’s role outfitting the Canadian Rangers and police forces across the country. The item will change seasonally.

The Calgary flagship marks Canada Goose’s second store in Canada, and seventh store globally, along with locations in Toronto, New York, Chicago, Tokyo and London. The company also opened a store in Boston earlier this month.

Canada Goose was founded in 1957 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
