Condé Nast’s Center of Fashion & Design offers cutting edge courses designed to educate and inspire fashion industry professionals in China and globally.

Condé Nast Center in Shanghai

“It is the right place and timing for Condé Nast to further strengthen our collaboration with our industry partners. The Center will carry on Condé Nast’s core value of authority, credibility and quality, and push new frontiers in innovation and insight”, remarked Liz Schimel, Managing Director of Condé Nast China.

The Center’s mission is to identify, cultivate, support and inspire current and future talents for the industry. To that end, both part time and full time courses are offered at a variety of experience levels, from recent fashion graduates to senior executives. The outcome is an incredible network where graduates of the Center are able to actively pursue jobs with Condé Nast and its industry partners.

Dominique Simard, Executive Director of the Center said, “there is an expertise gap between the fashion industry’s needs and what many job candidates can provide. Lack of applicable skills and knowledge together with practical industry exposure remains a crucial challenge for preparing graduates for the ever-demanding workforce. This is our focus as a lifelong and executive fashion education provider in China.”

The Center is located among luxury brands on Shanghai’s prestigious Mid Huaihai Road. In addition to the courses offered, it is host to fashion shows, exhibitions and VIP conferences.

Sample course titles  include Zara Fashion Bootcamp, Intro to Visual Merchandising, and Experimental Fashion Illustrating.
