The first exhibition will take place on October 1, where guests can exhibit garments that showcase the dramatic changes in wedding formal wear during the 1940's from the sombre war time period to post-war celebrations.

From October 5 to October 23, attendees can view what brides, grooms and wedding party members wore in 1900-1910, the 1930's, 1950's and 1970's.

On October 1, the exhibition will take place from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., as part of the city’s Nuit Blanche activities, at the Dalnavert Museum Visitor's Centre.

The October 2016 exhibit will take place at 74 Princess Street in Winnipeg’s Exchange District.

Both exhibits are open to the public and are free admission.
