In her new position, York will be in charge of all of Gracedbygrit's brand, marketing and public relations activities.

She brings two decades of marketing experience to the brand, having most recently been the US Western Region COO for communications marketing agency Edelman. Her agency clients included the UFC and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's company Vulcan.

Before joining Edelman, York was the US Community Engagement Director for Nike and has also served as a Communications and Public Affairs Director for Albertsons, Inc.

Kimberly Caccavo, co-founder and CEO of Gracedbygrit said York will bring "industry and functional leadership experience to her new role." Gracedbygrit is looking to York's track record of successfully growing businesses as the brand seeks to expand its own market presence.

Gracedbygrit is based in Solana Beach, CA. It was founded by two female athletes who wanted to make premium athletic apparel for land and sea, and aims to be an empowering brand for women. Its full line of athletic apparel is made in the USA in factories close to its headquarters.

York will assume the CMO role from her current Portland, OR location. She will continue to be based in Oregon and will commute to Southern California for her work.
