Nov 15 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2045 GMT on Thursday.

** British brewer Scottish and Newcastle SCTN.L said it had rejected an improved 7.3-billion-pound ($14.9 billion) bid proposal from Denmark's Carlsberg and Dutch group Heineken .

** A group of Spanish billionaires along with Spanish bank BBK made a takeover approach for Iberia that values the airline at up to 3.7 billion euros ($5.4 billion), topping an approach led by U.S. private equity group TPG. [nL15663288]
** An affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management [CBS.UL] said it had offered to renegotiate the terms of its $4 billion deal to buy United Rentals Inc or pay a $100 million breakup fee to walk away from the transaction. [nN15295144]
** Ralcorp Holdings Inc said that it would acquire Kraft Foods Inc's Post cereals business in a deal valued at about $1.65 billion. [nN15274041]

** Europe's biggest cable maker Nexans announced plans to buy the cables business of Chilean copper cable and pipe manufacturer Madeco MAD.SN in a cash and share deal worth $822 million. [nL151216]

** British property firm Segro said it had agreed to buy 26 logistics buildings across France for 159.8 million euros ($234.4 million) in a sale and leaseback deal with DHL. [nWLA2982]
** Italy's biggest utility Enel will buy three hydro generation plants in Mexico with a total capacity of 52 megawatts from U.S. investment fund Conduit Partners as part of its Latin American expansion plan. [nL15201562]
** Italy's biggest utility Enel has offered 4.4275 roubles ($0.181) per share to buy out minority shareholders in Russia's wholesale power generator OGK-5 , Enel said. [nL15193875]

** Vienna Insurance Group WISV.VI has agreed to buy a 62 percent stake in Ukrainska Strakhova Grupa (Ukrainian Insurance Group - UIG) via its eastern European investment vehicle TIBH, it said. [nL1575823]
