Diamond shopping just got a serious upgrade, following the launch of what is allegedly the world's most expensive culinary experience by one precious gemstone company.

Russian diamond group World Of Diamonds has teamed up with Cé La Vi Singapore, a company that specializes in "unique experiences that stimulate the senses," to unveil an exclusive USD $2 million dining experience for the buyer of the rare 2.08-carat Fancy Vivid Blue Jane Seymour diamond ring.

The eight-hour experience for two guests takes place in Singapore and includes a 45-minute scenic helicopter ride over the city, a chauffeured Rolls-Royce drive and a luxury private cruise.

The day culminates with an elaborate 18-course dinner on the 57th floor of Singapore's iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel, in a setting including 10,000 fresh roses, a live band and 360-degree views of the cityscape.

The Modern Asian degustation menu, served at sunset, includes fresh Belon Oyster with champagne foam, Almas Caviar, Jamón Ibérico, Gewürztraminer-poached foie gras and veal liver. Additional delicacies such as lamb sweetbread, Bresse poulet consommé, striped seabass, air-flown Alaska wild salmon, verjus Sorbet, slow cooked pigeon, Glenvale pork loin and apple-wood grilled Mishima sirloin also feature on the menu.

The food will be accompanied with 44 and 55 year-old vintage wines, a 1988 Salon ‘S' champagne, a 2008 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, and a 1961 Chateau Haut-Brion, among other tipples.

Guests will eat with diamond-studded chopsticks engraved with their names, while seated in custom-made armchairs fabricated by The Plush that they will get to take home at the end of the trip. But the real star of the experience, which Karan Tilani, Director of the WOD Group, says could be "the ultimate proposal, an exceptional occasion, or simply a celebration of life," will be the Jane Seymour.

The 'haute joiallerie' masterpiece was created to honor the Hollywood actress of the same name, and is encrusted with a brilliant blue hued cushion-cut sparkler, worn and personally endorsed by the former James Bond girl during a lavish dinner celebration at Cé La Vi Singapore in April this year. It is the world's only celebrity ring that isn't pre-owned. The ring, which is a US size 7, will be introduced to its new owner at midnight, with Louis XIII de Rémy Martin cognac and an extravagant fireworks display to mark the moment.

Potential clients will be approved for the experience at the group's discretion.
