Estée Lauder acquires GlamGlow

Published
Dec 22, 2014

Estée Lauder seems to be on a shopping spree! After Le Labo, Rodin Olio Lusso and Frédéric Malle earlier this year, the American group has bought Glamglow, a Hollywood label that has become known for its face masks. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.

GlamGlow's Youthmud tinglexfoliate mask, $69/£50.

Founded in 2010 by Glenn and Shannon Dellimore, Glamglow is sold in a selection of stores like Neiman Marcus, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdale’s and, as of January, at Nordstrom. In France, the brand is sold at Sephora.

The acquisition of Glamglow, which will come into effect in January, will allow Estée Lauder to complete its portfolio of personal care brands (Crème de la mer, Clinique….) with a label specialised in beauty masks which currently offers five products.
