Sneaker marketplace GOAT has announced a rotating consumer and fan experience called The Greatest, a pop-up gallery in Los Angeles designed to pay tribute to sneakerhead design and culture.

The Greatest gallery will begin with a retrospective of sneaker culture stemming from Los Angeles in the year 2000. Each month the gallery will pay tribute to a different city that has influenced sneaker culture and design.

In addition to showcasing product, GOAT will host fireside chats, workshops and Q&A sessions in the gallery. Streetwear influencers and designers who are scheduled to speak include Jeff Staple, Jason Markk, Andrea Lieberman, Sophia Chang, Jimmy Gorecki, Ja Tecson, Cole Younger, Theo Martins and Josh Peskowitz.

"We've wanted to create a physical space like this for a long time, to inspire and bring people from different backgrounds together through their love of sneakers," said Daishin Sugano, Co-founder and CPO at GOAT

To kick off The Gallery, 25 pairs of sneakers stemming from LA culture will be featured which include signature styles of Kobe Bryants and Yeezys. Fans can interact with Air Jordan 4 Retros as well as more recent collaborations including the Fear of God x Vans Vault Mountain release.

Jason Markk, CEO and Founder of Jason Markk Inc. said, "LA is not only a melting pot of various ethnicities, but LA is also an intersection of diverse subcultures such as skate, surf and gangs." Markk said LA's aesthetic is evident not just in the way Angelenos live and carry themselves, but also in their style.

To kick off the opening of The Greatest, GOAT will host a special event on Saturday, October 7th from 11am to 7pm with a special DJ.

The Greatest pop-up gallery is located at Culver City's Platform. It will be open from October 7th through December 31st. Two additional exhibits are scheduled to be on display in November and December. Admission is free and the shop is open daily with the exception of holidays.
