Elvis Presley Enterprises and Garrett Leight California Optical have launched a limited edition eyewear collection, “The King,” inspired by Elvis Presley and designed in collaboration with Mark McNairy.

The King eyewear collection draws inspiration from Elvis’ prized sunglass collection from the late 1960s and 1970s. The sunglasses feature gold plated frames with a hammered finish much like Elvis’ own frames and the letters “TCB” printed on the temples, which stands for “Taking Care of Business.”

“We are honored to join forces with Garrett Leight & Mark McNairy on this limited edition collaboration that captures the true essence of Elvis Presley.” said Nick Woodhouse, President and CMO, ABG. “Garrett and Mark bring a unique approach to eyewear design and we are thrilled on their adaptation of Elvis’ most iconic accessory.”

Leight and McNairy have regularly partnered on eyewear for multiple seasons and most recently launched a limited edition frame inspired by Speedy Thompson in October.

“I’m thrilled to partner with legendary designer and friend, Mark McNairy,” said Garrett Leight, GLCO CEO & Creative Director . “Elvis once said, ‘Values are like fingerprints. Nobody’s are the same, but you leave them all over everything you do.’” Leight adds, “Elvis’ fingerprints are all over the King frames, and our main goal with this project was to connect Elvis’ classic style to contemporary eyewear.”

The King limited edition eyewear collection of only 100 pairs retail for $395 and are available on the Elvis Presley and Garrett Leight California Optical websites.
