Make way for emerging designers! For the ninth consecutive season, Giorgio Armani is offering one such talent undreamt of visibility in welcoming them to the Armani Theatre during Milan Fashion Week. On June 22, it will be the Japanese brand Facetasm’s turn to go under the spotlight in Milan at the invitation of the Italian designer.

Facetasm is not entirely unknown. Founded in 2007 by Hiromichi Ochiai, the ready-to-wear label for men and women quickly emerged on the Japanese scene as one of the most innovative new brands.

Ochiai loves to experiment and work on materials while mixing different cultures. His colorful avant-garde silhouettes and streetwear inspiration combines pop culture and high fashion, creating a totally unique style.

Born in Tokyo, Ochiai graduated from Bunka Fashion College in 1999. He has already organized shows in Italy as part of Pitti Uomo in January 2010. He also put on a show for spring-summer 2012 during Tokyo Fashion Week.
