Danish contemporary brand Han Kjøbenhavn is relocating its New York City retail location. A rep for the brand confirmed that the store, previously located at 27 Prince Street, is slated to re-open in New York City, but a new location has not been selected.

The minimalist label opened its New York City store in 2013, which marked as its first US location. This was followed by a Paris location in 2015. The brand is currently in the process of opening a second location in Denmark to join its flagship store in central Copenhagen, as well as a store in Los Angeles slated to open in Summer 2017.

Founded by Tim Hancock and Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen in 2008, Han Kjøbenhavn offers men’s apparel, denim and accessories. The brand launched with a range of eyewear before expanding to denim and apparel. Eyewear remains at the heart of the company.

Han Kjøbenhavn is a regular at Copenhagen Fashion Week, and in February unveiled its latest collection named ‘Men with Dogs Killing Rats’. The collection consists of signature styles such as down bomber jackets and includes faux fur coats and numerous tailored options in plaid checks.
