Popular TV personality Holly Willoughby has been signed up by retail giant M&S as a brand ambassador, showcasing her “Must-Have” pieces from the chain’s autumn collections, launching on September 27.

The company said that Willoughby’s edit “will celebrate both her love of style and Marks & Spencer design, as she curates her Must-Haves for the coming season.”

The pieces are actually in addition to the overall autumn Must-Have campaign that launched at the beginning of this month, designed to celebrate “the stylish essentials every woman needs in her autumn wardrobe.”

Tapping into the Willoughby phenomenon is a savvy move for the retailer as she is one of the most popular TV presenters in Britain and has also emerged as a style influencer alongside her extensive television career.

The company said that she “has the unique ability to generate excitement with her sartorial choices and this curation brings Holly’s much-loved style directly to the Marks & Spencer customer.”

The new brand ambassador said she has been a long-term fan of the retailer.

As mentioned, the pieces chosen as part of her first Must-Haves offer will launch online and in selected stores on September 27, but the company is aiming to generate interest on an ongoing basis with additional edits set to arrive in October and into 2019.

M&S has a long history of teaming up with celebrities having launched two collections with Alexa Chung and having used a raft of big names in its ad campaigns over the years.
