Glow Recipe, a Korean beauty destination from co-founders Sarah Lee and Christine Chang, announced this week the opening of its first US pop up location in New York City.

Glow Studio Downtown is a two-level pop up store where customers can test, try and buy products, and experience activities, new product launches, exclusive offers and events. Glow Recipe will also hold a ‘Happy Hour’ special 70% discount on opening day, March 1, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Lee and Chang share almost 20 years of experience in the global beauty industry. They launched Glow Recipe after working with thousands of women around the world to understand their beauty rituals, and after testing numerous products over the years. Glow Recipe offers over 20 beauty brands, many of which will be available at the pop up, including Earth’s Recipe, Primary Raw and Saturday Skin.

The company turns its attention to the US market after Opening Ceremony and Nordstrom showed interest in Korean beauty brands. Opening Ceremony launched over 25 beauty products from Korean brands in November, and Nordstrom in January launched KPOP-IN@Nordstrom, showcasing Korean brands. The series launched with eyewear brand Gentle Monster, and it will feature additional Korean brands, including beauty brands, in the coming months.

The month-long Glow Studio Downtown pop up will be located at 452 West Broadway in SoHo.
