Karl Lagerfeld has been keeping busy over the holiday season, unifying his eponymous menswear lines and collaborating with his personal assistant.

The designer's ‘Lagerfeld' and ‘Karl Lagerfeld' labels are set to be combined as a unified ‘Karl Lagerfeld' collection that will be unveiled at the menswear trade show Pitti Uomo 93 this January, WWD reports. The showcase will also reportedly feature a capsule collection designed by Lagerfeld's personal assistant Sebastien Jondeau, dubbed ‘Karl Lagerfeld Curated by Sebastien Jondeau.'

Jondeau's collection will span casual and formal ready-to-wear pieces, as well as footwear and accessories. The series includes t-shirts and varsity jackets, as well as cashmere sweaters and tuxedos -- all inspired by his own personal style. "My style is very urban, yet it can also be quite strict -- strict and chic, since I can go from wearing sweats and a pair of Jordans to a three-piece suit," he told WWD. The collection is set to launch in Karl Lagerfeld stores in August 2018.

Pitti Uomo 93 runs January 9-12 in Florence, Italy, with the upcoming edition of the show set to focus on the ‘athleisure' phenomenon, in addition to showcasing a new generation of international creatives. Highlights this month will include a film festival theme, as well as exhibitions from guest designers ‘UNDERCOVER by Jun Takahashi' and ‘TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist.' The iconic Brooks Brothers brand will be hosting a fashion show and exhibition, while Pepe Jeans London will celebrate its 45th anniversary by unveiling a new sustainable development process for the treatment on denim.
