L'Oréal Canada appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

L'Oréal Canada has appointed a new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
 
Stéphanie Binette will take on the strategic position, effective August 1, 2017.

Binette will replace Stéphane Bérubé who will be taking on a new position within the L'Oréal Group, as CMO for the Western Europe zone as of August 15th, in London, England.
 
Binette joined L'Oréal Canada in 2006 as Group Leader for Garnier. In 2008, she was named Director of Marketing, Colour & Hair Care for L'Oréal Paris, the flagship brand of the L'Oréal Group, and later became Brand Manager of Maybelline New York in 2010. Most recently, she was promoted to General Manager for L'Oréal Paris.

In her new position as CMO, Binette will manage L'Oréal Canada's marketing transformation in the digital era. Her three main objectives will include accelerating e-business, customizing the marketing approach and excellence in engaging Brands with consumers.
 
L'Oréal Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of L'Oréal Group. They had sales of $1.133 billion in 2016 and employ more than 1,300 people.
