La Perla launches into household linen
Dec 8, 2014
From lingerie to household linen. La Perla is diversifying itself for the first time in its history with this new segment, by launching "an exclusive collection of household linen by a contemporary luxury label," it announced in a press release.
The Italian house, led by Silvio Scaglia, has signed a license agreement with Italian company Fazzini, a specialist in the high-end segment. The textile company, located in the Milan area, will be the exclusive manufacturer and distributer of La Perla Home in the world.
The collection will comprise complete sets of household linen with plaids, bedcovers and towels, "made using the most prestigious fabrics," such as silk, linen and cotton, embellished with embroideries and decorations.
The collection, made entirely in Italy, will be unveiled in Paris from 23 to 27 January at the Maison & Objet trade fair.
