Fragrance brand Le Labo is gearing up to open its first freestanding Canadian store in Toronto this month.

The Estée Lauder-owned brand will open at 876 Queen Street West mid-March and the opening is expected to be the first of multiple locations in Canada. In store, shoppers can expect to find Le Labo’s offering of niche collections of perfumes, body care, interior scents and candles.

The brand was founded in 2006 by Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi, and was acquired by New York City-based beauty conglomerate Estée Lauder in 2014.

Le Labo currently operates 32 stores internationally, as well as shop-in-stores in leading retailers including in the United States, Europe, and Asia, in cities like San Francisco, Chicago, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and more.

In Canada, Le Labo has most recently been made available with Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue’s entry into Canada. It has also been available since 2010 in Toronto, carried by retailer 6 by Gee Beauty.
