Belgian designer Kris Van Assche, creative director of Dior Homme, has signed up American actor Lucas Hedges and British singer Dave Gahan to front the French fashion house's fall/winter 2017-2018 campaign. The choice marks a turning point in the brand's creative vision, as it moves towards a more contemporary style.

As Kris Van Assche celebrates his 10th anniversary as creative director of Dior Homme this year, this latest advertising campaign lands in a specific context, marking a new step forward in his "global vision" for the menswear line and evolving its style.

The Belgian fashion designer has called on the internationally renowned photographer David Sims, working with stylist Mauricio Nardi, for this anniversary campaign, which highlights the multifaceted personality of the Dior man and his evolution from classic style to a more modern look.

The first shots from the campaign bring together several generations, several styles and several worlds thanks to four brand ambassadors: American actor Lucas Hedges ("Manchester by the Sea"), Depeche Mode singer Dave Gahan, French model Dylan Roques and Belgian model Christophe T Kint.

The campaign is presented in diptych format with two photos side by side, starring the new faces of the season in shots that play on contrasts between light and shadow.

The fall/winter 2017-2018 campaign showcases the new Dior Homme collection, in particular, tailoring, bomber jackets, oversized pants and knitwear with slogans like "There will be noise complaints" and "They should just let us rave."
