Marcolin Group announces early renewal of Guess eyewear license

The Marcolin Group and Guess have announced the early renewal of their exclusive eyewear licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing, and global distribution of Guess and Marciano optical eyewear and sunglasses.


The license consolidates a 25-year-long partnership between the brands - Guess.com


The new agreement extends the license through 2025. The early renewal of the Guess and Marciano license further consolidates a 25-year-long partnership between the brands.

Paul Marciano, Co-Founder of Guess, Inc. said: "Throughout the past 25+ years, Marcolin Group has always respected Guess' core values and honored the brand's focus on trends."

Guess is a key driver of business for Marcolin Group's diffusion segment. Marcolin offers Guess eyewear and sunglasses for men and women, as well as for children and teenagers.

Giovanni Zoppas, Executive Vice Chairman of Marcolin Group said: "We begin a new chapter of a collaboration that has distinguished itself for over 25 years of the two companies' history."

He continued, "The license agreement renewal with Guess reaffirms our solidity and represents another important step in the long-term development and growth plan of Marcolin Group."

Marcolin sold 14 million eyeglasses in 2016. It holds licenses from Tom Ford, Moncler, Ermenegildo Zegna, Roberto Cavalli, Atelier Swarovski, Tod's, Emilio Pucci, Balenciaga, Swarovski, and Dsquared2. Also in its portfolio are Diesel, Just Cavalli, Kenneth Cole, Montblanc, Timberland, Harley-Davidson and Skechers.
