Milano Unica China, the Chinese version of the Italian textiles trade fair, which took place from March 16 to the 18 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center of Shanghai as part of Intertextile Shanghai, recorded an influx of 3850 visitors, up 10 percent from March 2015, according to organizers.

Milano Unica China was full

The majority of visitors were Chinese, though “a presence from Korea, Japan and the US,” was also noted by the organizers in a closing press release.

Hosted by Intertextile Shanghai and organized by Messe Frankfurt, the Milano Unica China trade fair brought together 79 exhibitors to present their Spring/Winter 2017 collections.

“It’s true that the consistent influx was conditioned in some way by the drop of Chinese buyers during the European trade shows in February,” explained Milano Unica president, Ercole Botto Poala.
