The exhibit opened Saturday August 26. It showcases the bright colors and bold looks that have become synonymous with the Hulu original comedy series. The exhibit is curated by the show's Emmy nominated costume designer, Perez, who is also the President of the Costume Designers Guild.

Perez said, "I am very proud of the colorful, fashionable world I was able to create and share with the fans of The Mindy Project. This exhibit is a gift to the fans who have been so supportive all these years."

The interactive exhibit is the first of its kind for the Paley Center. It shows looks worn by characters in the previous seasons as well as looks that will be worn in the final season. Behind the scenes video clips, life size episodic photos and costume sketches complete the experience.

Maureen J. Reidy, President and CEO of the Paley Center, said in an official statement: "We're thrilled to give fans of The Mindy Project the rare up-close opportunity to see the fun and vibrant costumes worn by the loveable Mindy Lahiri."

Writer, executive producer and actor Mindy Kaling said of Perez' costume design talent that he "is an incredible artist who matched Mindy Lahiri's larger-than-life personality with couture beyond any woman's dreams."

The exhibit features sequined saris, unitards and statement coats among other playful looks. The show has aired over 100 episodes. The final sixth season begins September 12th.

To support the exhibit and the premiere of the final season, the cast and creative team of The Mindy Project will appear at a live event during PaleyFest Fall Previews on September 8th at the Paley Center. Guests can purchase tickets for an intimate discussion followed by a Q&A.

The exhibit is an exclusive to the Paley Center. It is free and open to the public at the Paley Center's LA location in Beverly Hills. It runs through October 1, 2017.
