Montreal’s Fashion Museum is teaming up with Quebec-based ecommerce site Fibres Collectives to launch an in-house boutique.

Baptized The Little Blue Boutique, the store will be located at the museum’s entrance during the duration of the museum’s current exposition, Blue Spectrum, from November 11 to April 9.

Playing on the exhibitions main theme, a selection of predominantly blue items will be for sale. Also true to the museums roots and Fibres Collectives main mission, items will be mainly from Quebec brands and designers such as Atelier l.a.f., Coton mouton, Holdur, Mela, Metamorphose, Miss Cocotte, Nina Nanas Jewels, Noemiah, and more.

The museum already has a vintage boutique that carries collectible accessories and pieces, but this new boutique will complete the museums current selection and embrace its mission to support Quebec designers, explains Joanne Watkins, Montreal Fashion Museum director, in a news statement.

New items will be added to the boutique throughout the course of the exhibition. The boutique will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Formerly known as the Musée du costume et du textile du Québec, Montreal’s Fashion Museum is located in Old Montreal at 363 rue de la Commune Est.
