Guest speakers include accessories designer Virginie Turcot-Lamarre from Louve Montréal, designer Karen Quirion from KQK, as well as members from the Centre Design et Impression Textile, and from the École de joaillerie de Montréal.

Blue Spectrum opened in September and features garments and accessories made from 1900 to the present day that highlight the colour blue and its many shades. The exhibition equally sheds light on the origins of blue and its uses around the world, and invites viewers to consider their emotional connections to the colour. The exhibition is scheduled to run until April 9.

Bleu Wednesdays will take place from 5 to 7 pm, March 1, 8, 22 and 29, and is open to the public.

Formerly the Musée du costume et du textile du Québec, Montreal’s Fashion Museum is located in Old Montreal.
