The 2016 program will take place from August 15 to the 20, and will feature a diverse range of fashion and design professionals.

"Once again this year, the conferences will be inspiring and full of incredible discoveries," says Stéphane Le Duc, the Commissioner of FMD Conferences, in a news statement. "The key for us is to provide a glimpse at the fascinating world of international creation. The choices were made based on an instant appeal for the work of people with extraordinary talent."

A total of 18 speakers were announced today including notable speakers like; Scott Schuman from the blog The Sartorialist; Jeanne Beker a leading Canadian fashion media mogul; Jérôme Gautier a fashion history expert and the author of the books Dior: New Looks and Chanel: The Vocabulary of Style; Lise Watier from self-named makeup line and many more.

Other speakers will still be added to this line-up and will be announced soon.

FMD Conferences will be held at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Never Apart Gallery. A total of 125 passports, which provide admission to all conferences, are on sale for $150.

Festival Mode & Design (FMD) is an annual celebration of creativity in downtown Montréal. It is created, produced and directed by Groupe Sensation Mode.
