“Our customers in the United States have been eager for the chance to bring Rudsak home, and our expansion into that marketplace represents the ongoing evolution of the company,” said Rudsak founder and designer Evik Asatoorian, in a news statement.

The online United States store at rudsak.com includes a curated selection of best-selling and coveted pieces, and all orders qualify for free shipping via FedEx Ground.

The Canadian company is mostly known for its iconic leather jackets and down-filled coats, but also sells handbags, footwear, as well as contemporary clothing for men and women.

Founded in 1994, Rudsak has expanded rapidly in recent years, quadrupling its store footprint since 2010, and opening an average of 4 stores per year since 2012.

Today, the label operates over 30 stores in Canada and plans to be available in a curated selection of boutique retailers around the world through 2018 and into 2019.

The company is reportedly eyeing New York to open its first store in the U.S., due to a large customer base currently coming to its online site from New York and New Jersey.

Other interesting global markets for the Montreal contemporary brand include places such as London and Scandinavia.
