Von Maur will replace Sears at Woodland Mall. The 90,000-square-foot store will be Von Maur’s first location in the Grand Rapids area. The family-owned company carries brands such as Eileen Fisher, Free People, Coach, Joe’s Jeans and Tommy Bahama among others, and is known for its interest-free charge card and liberal return policy.

The Davenport, Iowa-based company will join a number of Woodland Mall tenants including Apple, Lush, North Face and Pottery Barn among others, and it will be joined by 30,000-square-feet of restaurants in 2019.

Preit earlier this year reached an agreement with Sears to recapture three stores at Capital City Mall, Woodland Mall and Magnolia Mall. The real estate company announced this month that Dick’s Sporting Goods, Field & Stream and HomeGoods will replace Sears as lead tenant of Capital City Mall. The sporting goods retailer will also replace Sears at Viewmont Mall in Scranton, PA.
