Ripndip’s first New York City store is located at 40 Mercer Street in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood. Open for two months, the pop-up store will carry Ripndip’s Fall 2017 line, which includes apparel for both men and women such as t-shirts, jackets and socks, as well as home accessories like pillows. The line also includes skateboarding decks, umbrellas, pins and phone cases.

Ripndip was founded in 2009 in Orlando, Florida by Ryan O’Connor. Now based in Los Angeles, the label takes its inspiration from skateboarding culture, with humorous logos and emblems. The brand frequently uses its well-known cat logo, often used in playful ways alongside pop culture images or classic artworks such as the Mona Lisa and Frida Kahlo portraits.

Ripndip is based in Los Angeles and is sold throughout the United States at both online and brick and mortar stores such as Dolls Kill, 510 Skate Shop, and Moose Lmtd. It is also sold abroad in countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and Kuala Lumpur.
