Robert Geller and Grailed are launching on Friday the second round of “Immigrant” t-shirts, with the proceeds of sales going to the American Civil Liberties Union.

Robert Geller and Grailed relaunch the Immigrant t-shirt in men and women sizes.

The Germany-born designer debuted the t-shirt at the end of his fall 2017 show in February. Geller designed the t-shirt to pay homage to the many immigrants in the fashion industry, including him. His wife, Ana Beatriz Lerario Geller hand painted the grey t-shirt the morning of the show.

Geller first launched the t-shirts with Grailed on March 8 after launching a 10th anniversary hoodie with the e-commerce marketplace in February. All proceeds from the sales of the t-shirt went to support the ACLU in their fight to protect the civil liberties of men and women in the US.

Grailed and the designer are launching the t-shirt again after selling out of the first run within 3 hours. The first round consisted of 190 tees and the second round consists of 300 pieces.

The Robert Geller fall 2017 collection drew inspiration from political unrest and protest gear, which is very timely considering the number of protests that have happened in the US since Trump was elected President of the United States. Several designers used their fall 2017 shows in February to voice their feelings and opinions on the election and the present times.

The Immigrant t-shirt retails for $50 in standard sizes for men and women.
