Roots Canada creates collection for Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Games

Roots, the Canadian lifestyle brand and official leather goods maker for the Toronto Pan Am and Parapan Games, has unveiled its custom, locally made collection for the Games.

The 12-piece collection debuted at the Roots flagship store in Toronto, and includes a Pan Am/Parapan Am Replica Pouch based on the design of the leather pouchs that athletes will receive at both Games.
 
"Planning, organizing and staging the Games is a true team effort and we're grateful that Roots has joined our partner family as a Proud Supporter. Our partners are generously providing their products, services, expertise and enthusiasm to make these the best Pan Am/Parapan Am Games ever," says Saäd Rafi, Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee.

In addition to producing the special-edition collection, Roots also prepared a city guide with information and recommendations for the multi-lingual staff to hand out to visitors. The company’s founders, Michael Budman and Don Green, will also take part in the Pan Am Games Torch Relay on July 9th when the torch will make its way through the city.
 
The collection will be available in select Roots stores in the Greater Toronto Area, at the Toronto 2015 Superstore at Nathan Phillips Square and online at roots.com in early July.
