Shiseido Canada launches Laura Mercier operations

Shiseido Canada has welcomed French cosmetics brand Laura Mercier to its roster of cosmetics, skincare and fragrances, following the 2016 acquisition by Shiseido Americas Corporation.
 
Shiseido Canada officially commenced sales, marketing, public relations, and logistical operations of Laura Mercier cosmetics and RéVive skincare in April.
 
The acquisition of Laura Mercier and RéVive, two makeup and skincare brands, was announced in June and is expected to provide Shiseido with significant growth opportunities and expanded customer reach.

 
Meanwhile, Laura Mercier will benefit from Shiseido Americas Corporation's ongoing commitment to cosmetic artistry, as well as the company’s approach to amplifying market impact and boosting awareness.

"And we couldn't be happier to play a role in expanding the reach of the brand's iconic French elegance and inspiring innovation."

As part of its initiatives to expand the brand's presence across the country, Shiseido Canada is expected to be rolling out developments in store activities, digital communications, media and influencer outreach, and career opportunities with Laura Mercier.

In Canada, Laura Mercier products are currently available at Sephora, Holt Renfrew, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
