The luxury leather goods and accessories brand -- which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year -- has called on legendary American photographer Steven Meisel to capture its latest collection, Coach 1941, first unveiled in September at New York Fashion Week.

Renowned the world over for its leatherwork and traditional expertise, Coach has unveiled its new pre-fall 2016 campaign for Coach 1941, the label's signature ready-to-wear collection.

The leather goods brand has marked the occasion by calling in a big-name photographer to shoot the ads. Steven Meisel is a legendary photographer with strong ties to the world of fashion. He has worked with several editions of Vogue magazine, as well as the most prestigious fashion houses. He also shot the 2015 Pirelli calendar.

The campaign was shot on location in Red Hook -- a Brooklyn neighborhood with panoramic views over New York -- and evokes a contemporary interpretation of the classic American aesthetic that's become a hallmark of the Coach brand over the last 75 years.

As well as enlisting the skills of a renowned photographer for this pre-fall campaign, Coach has signed up a trio of models of the moment to show off the pieces in its latest Coach 1941 collection.

Lexi Boling, Rianne van Rompaey and Imaan Hammam can all be seen posing in an American car, modelling vintage pieces, outerwear and leather goods from the collection. The campaign also holds a special place for Coach's "The Rogue" handbag -- the brand's latest bestseller -- which lands in new materials this season.

The campaign will feature in June editions of various fashion magazines and the collection will be available in stores from May 23.
