Robertson joined Rocky Brands in September 2016 as a Senior Financial Analyst. Prior to joining the company, he served as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP from July 2015 to September 2016, and he held numerous audit positions at Schneider Downs & Co., Inc. from September 2008 to July 2015. A certified public accountant, Robertson spent majority of his time working with publicly traded footwear companies while practicing for Schneider Downs and Deloitte.

In February, Mike Staude stepped down as Interim CFO of the company after serving in the role for one month. He was named Interim CFO on January 12, 2017, replacing James E. McDonald. Following Staude’s departure, Rocky Brands said it would hire a suitable replacement from within the company.

In addition to the appointment, Rocky Brands announced that its board of directors has approved a new share repurchase program of up to $7.5 million of outstanding common stock.
