This year, Timberland plans to open three new stores in shopping centers Perisur, Toreo Parque Central and Plaza Satelite. These openings will give Timberland seven own stores in Mexico. The other locations are Santa Fe, Cosmopol, Andares (Guadalajara) and the most recent store in Parque Tezontle, which opened at the end of last year.

Timberland launched in Mexico in 2014 and also has a presence in the country thanks to its distribution through Liverpool, Innovasport, El Palacio de Hierro, Sears and Taf.

Belonging to the massive VF Corp, Timberland currently holds more than 240 stores and online shopping portals in 17 countries.

According to the American group’s 2016 annual financial results, the revenues of the company known for its famous yellow boots went up 4 percent in the fourth trimester (5 percent in neutral currency). Last year the total revenues for Timberland increased 1 percent to $1.8 million.
