Urban Outfitters collaborates with Nautica, with Lil Yachty fronted campaign

Urban Outfitters has teamed up with Nautica for a new capsule collection. The two brands tapped hip hop artist Lil Yachty to front the collaboration’s campaign.

7-piece capsule collection will have a retro, 90’s aesthetic, with neons and nylon playing a starring role in the collection. Pieces will reference Nautica’s history as a boating brand.  Included in the collection are several long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirts, a hoodie, sweatpants, a tracksuit, and a baseball cap.The collection will retail between $35 and $99.

The collaboration’s lookbook features 18-year-old American musician Lil Yachty. Lil Yachty is a cult-followed hip hop artist known best known for his singles “One Night” and “Minnesota”. He’s also easily recognizable by his beaded red dreadlocks and eccentric fashion choices.

This is not the first nostalgic collaboration by the retailer. In the past few years, Urban Outfitters has brought in Fila, Calvin Klein, and Reebok for retro-inspired collaborations. 

The collection will be available on November 14th at Urban Outfitters stores across the country and on urbanoutfitters.com.
