Rapper Wiz Khalifa will be showing his new unisex apparel collection at this year's Made L.A. fashion event in Downtown Los Angeles on June 9 and 10.

The capsule collection will feature a collaboration with two of Khalifa's favorite L.A. streetwear labels, 424 and Pleasures.

424 founder Guillermo Andrade said of the collection, "[c]ollaboration is a great friend of creativity. When the opportunity presented itself to work alongside Wiz..., it was an easy decision to get involved."

The most innovative point about his collection is that it will use a digital fit platform that will offer custom fit through an app that body scans customers. The new body scanning app, called Cala, takes the consumer's measurements and sends them immediately to a network of local cutters and sewers to quickly produce custom fit garments from Khalifa's line.

The technology will be available at Khalifa's Shop Small booth at Made L.A. which is a space of 30 brands that is co curated by event sponsor American Express.

Khalifa will be headlining the second night of Made L.A. on June 10th. After his runway show he will perform live with members of his record label, Taylor Gang. Taylor Gang is also going to tease a runway collection that is being designed in collaboration with stylist Lauren Matos and is set to launch this fall.

Opening Ceremony will headline the first night of Made L.A. with their first ever runway show in Los Angeles.

Made L.A. is seemingly taking a more accessible approach to this year's event. Last year when Made L.A. debuted, it ran as a traditional fashion week event highlighted by invite only Moschino and Tyler, the Creator runway shows. This year the event is open to the public who will be able to buy tickets for both days.

Additionally, this year will offer free entry into the Shop Small section of the event. Last year guests had to pay $10 to enter just to browse.

Made L.A. will take place again at L.A. Live's Event Deck at 1005 W. Chick Hearn Court in Downtown Los Angeles. Hours range from 2pm to 11pm on June 9th to noon to 11pm on June 10th.
