What's new in fashion & shows

Fashion has also made its comeback. Between the new adverts, the leading changes, the year 2016/17 rings for a new beginning starting strong with the fashion weeks and the ideas about fashion shows and seasonalities put into question. The first rendez- vous at New York fashion week opens with Tommy Hilfiger… The American designer choses to present the coming season, autumn/winter 2016/17 which will be available just after the show, whilst topping off the event with a capsule collection created by Gigi Hadid.Furthermore Tom Ford and Burberry in London will follow the same path in deciding to adopt the concept <> or one where you can find products in the boutiques that were on the catwalk the day before … Everyone searches therefore to redefine the idea of time, the big houses restructure themselves showing a reshuffle of CEOS and shareholders. For example with Christopher Bailey at Burberry who takes on the double role of creative director and managing director has just named a new president, who comes from Céline, there is also a change of direction at Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss, amongst others. The LVMH group has chosen to seperate themselves from the house of Donna Karan, The Qatar group has bought Balmain whislt Isabel Marant has given 51 % of their company to an investment fund. And when it’s not at the direction level, in the studio there are changes taking place. Luxury fashion has never known so much movement at the level of the designers. We are eagerly waiting for Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent who will open Parisian fashion week at the end of September, as well as Bouchra Jarrar at Lanvin or Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior. We will have to wait a bit still to see the work of Raf Simons at Calvin Klein, Haider Ackermann at Berluti, or the duo of Monse, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia at Oscar de la Renta… without forgetting the questions that still have us waiting in suspense, like whether Nicolas Ghèsquière will leave Vuitton or Alber Elbaz, who is still up in the air… Fashion is therefore in the middle of a revolution at the heart of the houses but also in the relationship with the buyers, the media and of course the clients creating a buzz around the clothing without cease.Music free of rights : Bandit & Nikit
