The executive appointment saga continues for Abercrombie & Fitch with the announcement that it has named Katia Kuethe, the former Creative Director of Lucky Magazine, as its creative director of marketing.
The company announced in April that it would ditch its sexualized marketing and shirtless models in addition to its recent hiring aimed to turn the company around. Kuethe, who served as senior director of creative at Kate Spade prior to Lucky Magazine, will join another recent new and major industry player, Aaron Levine, who was appointed the head of men’s design.
Other recent additions to the company are reported to include former Club Monaco senior director of men’s merchandising, Kurt Hoffman, who was appointed as general manager of Abercrombie & Fitch men’s, and Lisa Lowman who was hired as the new head of design for Hollister Girls.
