Opened on May 16, the showroom is located inside the Elizabeth Collective, the former Manhattan home of Elizabeth Taylor, which has been turned into an event space, now owned by Sebastian Capital. The showroom serves as a New York flagship for Ada Diamonds. Inside, shoppers can browse an array of lab-grown diamond jewelry and interact both virtually and face-to-face with the brand's concierge team to create bespoke jewelry pieces.

Ada Diamonds currently operates showrooms in New York and San Francisco.

"When it came time to select a location for our second showroom, we knew it had to be New York," said co-founder, Lindsay Reinsmith. "Now clients from around the world can enjoy the Ada Diamonds luxury client experience with the convenience of a Manhattan location."

While the status of synthetic diamonds compared to their natural counterparts continues to spark debate, diamond companies expect to see strong growth in the lab-grown market. Last year, diamond industry giant De Beers showed its interest in the category with the debut of its own lab-grown initiative, Lightbox.

According to a press statement from Ada Diamonds, consumer attraction to lab-grown diamonds has led to a 344 percent quarter-on-quarter growth for the Ada Diamonds brand as of Q1 of 2019.
