The limited edition sneakers released in three exclusive colors - deep red, black on black and grey mix – were launched on “Giving Tuesday”.

All proceeds from the sales of the shoes will go to Global Citizen to help children in the world's poorest countries get access to education.

First launched in August 2017, the MX is Aldo's 'genderless' sneaker and was developed with a message of equality and unity.

"After successfully launching our genderless sneaker last summer, we sought to further celebrate the intention and values behind its creation. By extending the purpose of Mx. towards this new campaign, our goal is to elevate what the sneaker stands for and raise awareness for a project that will resonate with our global community, the #AldoCrew," said Daianara Grullon Amalfitano, Senior Vice President at Aldo.

Aldo partnered with several influencers including Braina Laviena, Danielle Alcaraz, and Eff Ulloa to promote the collaboration.

Aldo Group was founded in 1972. The company has over 3,000 points of sale in 100 countries around the world, operating under two signature brands, Aldo and Call It Spring, and a multi-brand retail concept, Globo.

The limited edition Aldo Mx is now available online and in stores.
