The industry-led, independent, organisation represents the HR needs of the apparel manufacturing industry in Canada, but is especially involved in a number of initiatives in Montreal. Apparel Connexion works closely with Mmode. Montreal’s industrial cluster that aims to reassert the city’s place in the global fashion market. Mmode espouses a four pillar action plan, which includes finding solutions to workforce issues and assist in developing training and mentorship programs. Most recently, they participated in "Forum Main-d'œuvre mmode", a conference related to employment at LaSalle College in Montreal.

The event will take place in Montreal at the Palais des congrès from 9:30 am to 5 pm. An initiative of Apparel Connexion, it is being organized together with CSMO Textile and mmode, as well as with the special collaboration of the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail.
