The 1,730-square-foot Santana Row brand store opened in a Victorian-style building positioned on the central promenade and offers a full selection of the brand’s outerwear, packs, and climbing gear, as well as hiking and trail running apparel.

Located in a premier location alongside nearby restaurants, top brands, fitness facilities and green spaces, Santana Row sees 15 million visitors annually including wellness-conscious guests.

Arc’teryx chief commercial officer, Delaney Schweitzer, noted in a release that the location has been two years in the making.

“Arc’teryx Santana Row is uniquely positioned to serve the San Jose community with Tahoe, Yosemite, and the Eastern Sierras in close proximity for running trails, hiking, and top-tier climbing. Our team of product experts and outdoor enthusiasts are excited to build a gathering place for the outdoor community, with these beautiful National Parks within a short drive.”

“At Arc’teryx, we’ve always embraced the outdoors as key to our physical and mental well-being,” said Schweitzer. “Now as more people realize the importance of time spent outside, this new location will cater to increased demand in Northern California for well-designed, quality outdoor products.

The store opening marks the brand’s 20th location in the United States. Arc’teryx is also distributed through more than 3,000 retail locations worldwide, including over 80 branded stores.

In May, it introduced a new circularity program dubbed 'ReBird', alongside its first-ever upcycled products made from post-consumer materials. It equally named Nicole McLaughlin as the brand’s first-ever design ambassador, who equally has a focus on sustainability.
