Gap has teamed up with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry for the latest installment of GQ's 'Coolest Designers on the Planet' series.

The label has invited eight major brands, including Balmain, Dsquared2, MSGM, No Vacancy Inn, Officine Générale, Opening Ceremony, Stampd and Surf is Dead to put their own spin on its classic Gap sweatshirt for men.

The result is one crewneck sweater and seven different hoodies, each blending the designer's individual logo with the signature Gap branding and channeling a very different style and aesthetic, ranging from MSGM's oversized version to Surf is Dead's boxy neon version. Each brand has also selected a non-profit organization that a portion of the proceeds from their pieces will be directed to.

"This year's collection spotlights the iconic Gap sweatshirt, with collaborations from menswear's most exciting names," said GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson in a statement. "It represents the very best of the Coolest Designers on the Planet program and the global influence of menswear in the thing we all really want to wear: a classic sweatshirt.

Men's magazine GQ and Gap have been working together on the annual ‘GQ for Gap' collection since 2007, with the aim of shining a spotlight on emerging menswear designers across the US.

This year's collection is now available at select Gap stores in the US, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and throughout Europe, priced from $78 to $148.
