Biologique Recherche is expanding. The cosmetics and beauty institute French brand created in 1977 by Frenchmen Yvan and Josette Allouche, and now co-managed by their son Philippe Allouche, and entrepreneurs Pierre-Louis Delapalme and Ruper Schmid, will open its doors in September in the Melrose Place neighborhood, at 8461 Melrose Place, Los Angeles.
In place of the Rebag store and lifestyle brand The Apartment by The Line, the beauty institute, which is currently finalizing the last details of its decoration, will open with neighboring clothing store Frame and tea room Alfred Tea Room, luxury labels The Row and Balmain.
Renowned for its personalized and customized treatments, courted by celebrities and models, Biologique Recherche has been working with a professional distribution channel for the past twenty years and does not distribute its products online or in pharmacies.
Available in more than 150 spas and luxury hotels around the world, Biologique Recherche is strengthening its position in the United States, and specifically in California where it is already present in the Peninsula Beverly Hills, SLS Beverly Hills and Shutters on the Beach hotels in Santa Monica, as well as in the Terry Lawton Skin, Melanie Grant Skin Health and Luxbae West Hollywood beauty salons.
The brand is also present in 2,000 beauty salons in 75 countries around the world and through its network of embassies, including the first one in Paris on the Champs-Elysées, to which the one in Saint-Germain-des-Prés has been added since last May, as well as in Russia and Switzerland, and in a few weeks, in Los Angeles.
