Boston-based menswear startup Blank Label is primed for expansion following $1.1 million in investor funding. The company has its sights set on Washington D.C. for the opening of its second store.

The $1.1 million investment was partially used on the opening of the company’s Boston office, and the remainder will be used for the D.C. location. Blank Label confirmed that the store is slated to open by the fall of 2015, and that it aims to have a location in Washington D.C.’s downtown area as opposed to a popular shopping area. The company plans to open more locations in 2016.

Fan Bi, Blank Label’s CEO, co-founded the award-winning, custom menswear company five years ago with about $30,000. Men’s clothing items include various shirting options, chinos, suiting, tuxedos and topcoats and range in price from $95 to $1,195.
