Boa taps Shawn Neville as new CEO

American footwear systems company Boa Technology Inc. has named former Aerosoles CEO Shawn Neville as its new chief executive, effective immediately.

Neville comes most recently from the Aerosoles Group where he was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman there.

"I am confident that with Shawn’s successful track record and passion for innovation, brand building, team building, and this industry, the next chapter of Boa will be even stronger,” said Gary Hammerslag, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Boa Technology.

Neville got his start in the footwear industry with Reebok in the 90's. He held senior leadership roles both across North America and Europe and ultimately became the brand's Senior Vice President & General Manager of North America. He also was President of Keds Group from 2004-2008 where he led the successful acquisition of Saucony and has built a lifetime career in the retail footwear industry.

Neville's appointment with Boa brings him back to Denver where he attended college at the University of Denver. Outside of Boa, he will continue to serve as an active board member of Zildjian Percussion.

Neville has already moved back to Denver from the East Coast and his appointment as Boa CEO is effective immediately.

Denver, CO-based Boa is the leader in footwear fit and closure systems across multiple sport, utility and medical footwear categories. Since its start in 2001, the Boa patented closure system is seen in footwear styles manufactured by its brand partners which are the leading names in footwear including Asics, Adidas Golf, Nike, Oakley, Vans and Under Armour.
