Boss and Meissen are bringing out a collaborative collection for the holidays

In a 100% "Made in Germany" collaboration, ready-to-wear brand Boss and Meissen, Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturer, are preparing to bring out a joint collection for the end of the year. The collection includes clothing, accessories and teacups and will become available in November.

Meissen, known worldwide for its traditional quality, has teamed up with Boss to create a collection themed on the "Big Five" African animals: the elephant, leopard, lion, rhinoceros and water buffalo.

Symbols of "strength" and "longevity," according to Hugo Boss, the five animals appear in a pattern embroidered, woven, or printed on the ready-to-wear and accessories in silk, leather, and cashmere.

The Boss x Meissen collection contains a limited edition series of five porcelain cups as well as clothing for men and women, including a pleated skirt, shirts, t-shirts, sweats, jackets, suits, and coats. The entire collection appears in black and white.

Hugo Boss has already announced its plan to make a donation to "Elephants for Africa," which works to protect elephants in Africa via research and education in partnership with groups in Botswana.

Products from this collaboration will be for sale in November in Boss boutiques and selected other outlets.
