After opening its store in Melrose Place, the Italian luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta has just opened its second store in Los Angeles, and has chosen the posh Pacific Palisades neighborhood, between Santa Monica and Malibu.

Bottega Veneta and its new creative director, Matthieu Blazy, have chosen the Palisades Village shopping center, a bespoke walkable village, which opened in fall 2018, now home to 45 stores, entertainment and restaurants. It is part of the Caruso Group's portfolio which also includes The Grove, The Americana at Brand and The Commons at Calabasas.

The arrival of the Italian brand at Palisades Village also marks the development of luxury brands within the shopping center, after the opening in 2019 of another Italian label, Brunello Cucinelli. Until now, the shopping center had accessible ready-to-wear brands such as Buck Mason, Anine Bing, Vince, Frame and Reformation.

While Bottega Veneta's universe is mainly displayed in its flagship store on Melrose Place in West Hollywood, the Palisades Village space features a smaller store with an offer mainly focused on accessories, bags, sunglasses and shoes and a narrower selection of ready-to-wear.

The design of the boutique, imagined with a forest green background and wooden furniture, highlights the shoe and bag collections around compressed aluminum and mineral sculptures, presented on wooden shelves with a graphic and sculptural design. The small leather goods are displayed on a purple and white marble table and the ready-to-wear is elegantly presented on golden racks.
